more colorful
Le Crueset kitchenware, Kitchen-Aid mixers, Blue Star stoves, New Traditionalists furniture, and Dualit toasters all appeal to our love of color. There is something about seeing sets of the same thing available in yummy colors that enchants us. Picking the color to use or strategically place into a design means taking a little risk and trusting oneself to pick a color that is going to appeal for the longterm. The payoff is that we create a bit of joy each time we catch a glimpse of the color we chose or use the item wearing the color. Items like these let us infuse our environment with whimsy and fun and commit to color in interesting ways.
When we need color of all kinds, 500 Pencils is a great answer! But these people are crafty--you cannot buy the entire set at once (I know this because I tried) but must set up a subscription, getting 25 colors at a time, each month over twenty months. The set of pencils calls to the artist in all of us and is tempting on so many levels.
